On Thursday, March 28th I visited Royersford Borough with several other Montgomery County Mayor’s for our on-going Mayoral summits where we discuss ways of working together to support growth across the county. I am grateful to Mayor Jenna for her warm welcome of her fellow Mayor’s and her dedication and passion to her community is infectious. In the same vein, Lansdale played host to all the Mayor’s just yesterday. I walked my colleagues around Lansdale and highlighted the key changes we have made in the last several years and discussed how we are working closely with SEPTA and other key partners to intelligently grow our community. I would like to thank Chief Trail, Lt. Devlin, and Christine for their help in organizing the event!

On Monday, April 1st Congressman Fitzpatrick’s Office and I spoke with the Lansdale Post Office about ongoing mail issues in the Borough. We have made positive movement on this front. Several areas in the borough feel their mail is now being delivered on a timely and accurate basis. That being said, some lingering issues remain and we will be working together to hash those issues out moving forward.

On Saturday, April 8th I ran the Manna 5k with so many other dedicated people in Lansdale. I would like to thank everyone who came out to support Manna and the great work that they do. It was a wonderful day and it was great to see so many people participating!

On Saturday, April 13th I met with residents from Ward 1 with other members of council to discuss wastewater issues in their area that are affecting alleyways. On that same day I threw out the first pitch with Judge Ed Levine and Representative Malagari for North Penn Little League. Immediately following that I celebrated the 100th birth day of Dick Carlous where I issued a proclamation thanking him for his dedication to his community and his country. Finally, on that same day, I attended the Blue Comet Motorcycle Club’s annual banquet where we celebrated their tenure as a club and the positive impact they bring to the Lansdale Area.

On Tuesday, April 15th I attended the new Manhattan Bagel Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. It is encouraging to see additional investment in the Borough and I wish the. The best of luck as their business grows with our community.

On Monday, April 22nd I met with the Lansdale Lion’s Club to discuss the state of the borough and our focus on infrastructure improvement. Thanks goes out the Lions and their membership for being dedicated to our home and investing making Lansdale a great place to live.

On Saturday, May 11th I had the great honor of announcing the game of the week for North Penn Little League. The game was thrilling right to the end where the winning team managed a 5 run comeback with a walk off 2 run RBI to end the game.

As always, my office hours are 9-5 on Tuesday’s and 9-Noon on Saturdays.
