ZYDECO-A-GO-GO - Zydeco-a-Go-Go will rock and boogie to the swinging bayou rhythms of Zydeco-a-Go-Go, a popular dance band based in Philadelphia PA that specializes in Zydeco, Cajun, classic New Orleans rhythm & blues and vintage Louisiana rock & roll. At the heart of any Zydeco-a-Go-Go song is the classic Zydeco sound of accordion and frottoir (rubboard) augmented by saxophone, electric guitar, electric bass and drums. Their performances feature lyrics sung in English, Cajun, Creole, and Spanish set to a beat that will keep everybody dancing all night long. Although based in Philadelphia, the group has toured twelve states (including Louisiana) where they’ve garnered praise for their authentic Louisiana sound. In New Orleans at the legendary Rock & Bowl they kept the crowded dance-floor busy, with smiling faces everywhere.
