  1. Communities Connecting for a Clean Wissahickon

    On Wednesday, October 24, a panel of regional and local stakeholders will share progress on the Wissahickon Clean Water Partnership and discuss the watershed-wide research and planning that will result in a new holistic approach to improving water quality in the Wissahickon Watershed, which plays a critical role in our region. “Communities Connecting for a Clean Wissahickon” is hosted by Friends of the Wissahickon (FOW) and the Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association (WVWA, along with like-minded partners, as a follow-up to two previous town hall meetings held in 2012 and 2015 on an issue that impacts everyone in the Watershed.

    Bitty Ballet is a program designed for preschool age children (2.5 - 5 years of age) as an introduction to dance. Ballet is a wonderful stepping stone to encourage group participation, listening to an instructor and a true love of dance and movement for these developing souls. Simple ballet positions and moves also encourage physical activity and controlled body movements in toddlers.
